To guide, coordinate and supervise planning and management activities related to the provision of goods and services to Central Bank departments and areas, and the preparation and review of the Bank’s financial statements and budget.
To manage, coordinate and supervise activities related to BCRA human resources management. To advise senior institutional authorities on the development of the human resources policy.
Gerardo Graziano graduated as a public accountant from Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). He holds a master’s degree in Finance from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT).
Prior to taking up his current position at the BCRA, he was General Accounting Senior Manager, and before he had been Credits Manager, under the scope of the Operations division. He joined the BCRA as an Assistant after completing a competitive selection process for young professionals in 2003.
Before entering the BCRA, he worked at the Association of Notaries Public for the Province of Buenos Aires as a young professional in the investment and finance area, and, previously, served as an Accounting Assistant at the Ministry of Health of Buenos Aires.
He is a member of the Accounting and Budget Committee at the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies (Centro de Estudios Monetarios Latinoamericanos, CEMLA). Moreover, he was invited by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to provide training in, and implement, a credit line for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Dominican Republic. He was also a BCRA's instructor in credit programs for delegations from central banks of Latin America, and a guest speaker in a workshop on legal, economic and financial aspects of central banking organized by CEMLA in Argentina.
