To lead and oversee the creation and approval of information security standards to be used by financial institutions, ensuring that all inquiries into these standards are duly answered.

Mara Misto Macías holds an academic degree in Computer Science, and a graduate degree in Management Development from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). In addition, she obtained a graduate degree in Information Security and Cryptography from Instituto de Enseñanza Superior del Ejército (IESE).
She held different positions at Aluar, Telecom and Banco Itaú Buen Ayre. She was in charge of the area of information security at the Secretariat of the Treasury under the Argentine Ministry of Economy and Production, and was an advisor on information security for the Modernization Project for Financial Management of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
She was part of the team that prepared the first Model Policy on Information Security issued by the former National Office for Information Technologies (ONTI) in 2004, as well as Communication “A” 5374 on Security of Electronic Channels issued by the BCRA. She gave lectures at different national and international conferences and meetings. She was invited to give a speech at the OAS-FIRST Cybersecurity Technical Colloquium held in Washington in 2015. Misto Macías is a professor of Strategic Management in Information Security I in the Information Security graduate program of Universidad de Buenos Aires.
