To manage activities related to the issuance and construal of regulations falling within the scope of the Financial Regulations Deputy General Management Office on monetary, financial and credit matters.
Darío C. Stefanelli graduated as a public accountant from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) and holds a master's degree in Finance from Universidad del CEMA. He is a Financial Risk Manager as certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He has attended several courses in finance and management at the BCRA, local universities, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the Deutsche Bundesbank, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Moreover, he has completed the first half of an online undergraduate program in law at Universidad Siglo 21.
He started his career in Banco de la Provincia de Córdoba. Then, he worked in the area of auditing and accounting for Empresa Provincial de Energía de la Provincia de Córdoba (EPEC). At the BCRA, he performed duties related to the analysis and inspection of financial institutions. Subsequently, he became Market Risk Deputy Manager, and Regulatory Issuance Manager.
In the academic arena, he has given training courses in finance and banking at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE), Universidad del CEMA, Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA), Università di Bologna, the BCRA, the Association of Banks in Argentina (ABA), and the Association of Public and Private Banks in Argentina (ABAPPRA).
