The BCRA Will Offer Liquidity Facilities to Mutual Funds

The President of the BCRA, Miguel Pesce, has committed today to implementing, as soon as possible, liquidity facilities on Treasury’s instruments to be used by mutual funds.

“The BCRA is analyzing different scenarios to guarantee it will trade the curve to ensure the liquidity and price support of the Treasury’s instruments”, Pesce said.

The President of the BCRA met today with Valentín Galardi, president of the Argentine Chamber of Mutual Funds (Cámara Argentina de Fondos Comunes de Inversión, CAFCI) and industry representatives, who agreed on the strategy and appreciated the BCRA's intervention in the securities market.
