The CIII Meeting of Central Bank Governors organized by the Center for Latin American Monetary Studies (CEMLA) was held on May 19-20, in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, Province of Río Negro, Argentina. These meetings host governors of CEMLA member central banks, senior officers and special guests participate on a biannual basis.
On this occasion, the spotlight was focused on world economic and financial outlook, financial regulation—a look forward,—digitalization and financial inclusion, monetary policy reaction to external shocks, optimum management of central banks' reserves and topics under discussion at the G-20.
The central banks that participated in the meeting were: Germany, Argentina, Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curaçao & St Maarten, Spain, the United States, France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, South Africa, Uruguay and Venezuela.
