The BCRA authorizes banks to update fees on the services rendered to financial users in January and February 2021, with a 9% monthly ceiling.
Fees have been frozen since February 19 as set forth in Communication A6912.
This decision applies to:
Savings accounts: additional debit card issuance; debit card replacement in case of theft or loss; use of ATMs (outside bank branches, other institutions and/or networks), and withdrawal services through points of sale and cash withdrawal by the account holder or a third party.
Credit cards: issuance, reissuance, accounts management and maintenance; card replacements or reprints in case of theft or loss and additional cards.
Financial institutions may also increase their fees on other products and services, such as safe-deposit boxes, transactions with securities and in bank current accounts.
